Retrieving email from another account

I want to retrieve mail from another POP account, how do I do that?

Please see the Retrieve help page for instructions.

Note that it is not possible to retrieve from email services that don't provide POP access. The exceptions are mail from Hotmail, MSN and Lycos, as described on the Retrieve help page above.

What is the difference between autoretrieve and manual retrieval of POP mail?

Setting an interval for your retrieve settings means that your mail will be fetched from the external server every 10 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours. Selecting Manual means that mail will only be fetched if you log in to your webmail and click on Retrieve POP (+ Refresh).
