Hans Lysglimt - Runbox founder

Runbox AS is a profitable and growing private Norwegian company founded in October 1999 by CEO Hans Lysglimt, and resides in Oslo, Norway. Runbox develops and provides the email service Runbox Mail Manager (RMM). The service was launched globally in 2000, and the company has developed RMM to become one of the world's leading premium email services. Since our beginning Runbox has delivered more than 750 000 mailboxes. Runbox also delivers custom made email solutions, and has developed customized services for several major portals.

Runbox works closely with, and is partially owned by, Linpro AS. Linpro AS is a private profitable company and Norway's leading Linux systems administration company since 1995, with more than 40 system administrators and developers.

Runbox servers run on EMC and Dell hardware and are hosted with our partner business ISP Comnet (previously Qwest Norway AS and still running on the Qwest international infrastucture), where CEO Hans Lysglimt worked prior to starting Runbox. Comnet offers world class access with fully redundant systems world wide.
