Help Overview

Runbox offers a wide range of email and web services, and here you will find information and help for all of them. You might want to start by browsing the Documentation menu to the left for details on the various features, or use the search box at the bottom of the page to find more specific information.

For a short and simple introduction to Runbox please see What Runbox Email Is All About, and to find out more about the technical workings of email, see How Email Works.

To find setup guides for email clients (POP, IMAP, and SMTP), please click the corresponding link under "Access" in the Documentation menu.

Documentation Overview

Please see the Documentation Menu to the left for details on all the various sections of Runbox, or browse the main sections below:

  • Webmail for reading and writing email.
  • Manager for administration tools letting you retrieve, filter, and access email.
  • Contacts for managing your contacts' email addresses, names, and other information.
  • Files for storing and synchronizing your files.
  • Account for setting up and configuring your subscription, email hosting, and web hosting.

Getting help

We are dedicated to help you get the most out of your email experience, so please follow these steps if you're having problems or have any question related to Runbox or email:

  1. If you experience service interruptions, check the Service Status page to see if Runbox is already aware of and working on the problem.
  2. Try the Runbox Wizard, which contains answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
  3. Find solutions or submit a support ticket using the Runbox Support System at support.runbox.com.
  4. Send a message to support@runbox.com for technical support, or billing@runbox.com for subscription and payment related inquiries.
    Please include your Runbox username and a detailed description of your problem or issue. (Norwegian users: Send en mail til support@runbox.no.)
  5. Post a question or search for answers in the Runbox Forum, a community of Runbox administrators and users helping each other with email-related problems. To get help, please include:
    • Your Runbox username.
    • An exact description of the problems you are experiencing.
    • When the problems started.
    • Any settings you have changed that might have affected functionality.

Informational videos

We like video help and use YouTube a lot for video assistance. Whatever you need help for there is often a good YouTube video to show you how to fix it. Visit youtube.com and search for your issue, see Runbox own Youtube channel Runbox Youtube channel, for instance "Set up pop email".
