How to setup your GoDaddy domains for Runbox Email Hosting
- Go to http://www.godaddy.com and log in.
- Hover the mouse cursor over Domain Names in the main menu and select My Domains.
- Click on the name of the domain.
- On the right side in the Domain Details window click the + sign to expand the Total DNS Control options.
- Click on Total DNS Control And MX Records.
- The DNS Manager should open in a new window (if it doesn't, click Launch Total DNS Control Manager in the right-hand Manage MX Records, and DNS Zone File box).
- In the DNS Manager window scroll down to the MX (Mail Exchangers) section and you should see something like this:
| Priority | Host | Goes To | TTL | |
| 0 | @ | smtp.secureserver.net | 3600 | Edit Delete |
| 10 | @ | mailstore1.secureserver.net | 3600 | Edit Delete |
| Add New MX Record |
- Delete all the current MX entries by clicking the Delete links.
- Click on Add New MX Record.
- In the MX (Mail Exchangers) Record Wizard scroll down to Step 3: Enter Goes To Address and enter "mx.runbox.com". You shouldn't need to change any of the other values if Runbox will be your only MX server.
- Click [Continue].
- On the next screen click [Add].
- On the Added MX (Mail Exchanger) Record prompt click [OK].
You should now see your new MX record in the MX (Mail Exchangers) list.
That should be it for the GoDaddy end. You can now return to Runbox
Email Hosting and wait for the status of your domain to change from "Pending" to "Active".
