Your Account Information will be treated confidentially, as stated in our Privacy Policy. You may update your registered data (except your username) at any time, and please keep it as current and correct as possible.

User information

Username

You cannot change the username of an existing account. But we recommend you change your password from time to time, as this helps keep your account secure. You do this by writing the new password into the two blank fields provided, and saving the settings.

Password

Your password can contain the letters a-z and A-Z, the numbers 0-9, and the following special characters: +?=()&,.:;-_/*@!#~`#$%^&[]{}|\'"<>

Note that your password is case sensitive, so that "a" is different from "A".

To ensure the security and privacy of your Runbox account, your password must:

• Be between 6 and 64 characters long.
• Contain a mix of characters, numbers, and letters (at least 2 characters, and at least 2 numbers, 2 special characters, or one of both).
  Examples:
  • 6 characters, 2 numbers: Otw1McG3
  • 6 characters, 1 number, and 1 special character: p9go+Wed
  • 7 characters, 2 special characters: @IecgPja%
• Not be the same as your username.

We urge you to NOT select easy to guess passwords, and to use the secure login option on all terminals and networks accessible by others.

Note that if you use an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc), it may take a few minutes for the new password to take effect.

Personal information

Enter your first and last name, your street address, city, zip/postal code, country and your timezone (for displaying the time on your mails correctly). Please type in complete and accurate data, and keep this information current.

Optional information

You are asked for an alternate email address, which gives you the opportunity of receiving your password should you ever forget it, at an address which is verified as belonging to you. If you do not provide a valid alternate address, we may not be able to provide your password, should you need it.

When finished updating your Account Information, click [Save settings] at the bottom of the page.
